Transfer News and Gossip Adam Crowther Signs

Transfer news

We are pleased to confirm the signing of Adam Crowther from National League North club King’s Lynn Town for an undisclosed fee.

Crowther, a 6ft 4 centre-back, joins the Club on a two-and-a-half year contract subject to final ratification.

The 23-year-old made 20 league appearances for the Linnets in 2023/24, and last season was almost ever-present, scoring seven goals in 45 games from defence as he helped King’s Lynn to the play-offs.

Earlier in his career, Crowther played with Gus Scott-Morriss at Royston Town and had a stint at Isthmian League club Cheshunt.

We spoke to Crowther upon the confirmation of his signing.

He said: “It feels brilliant to get it all done and I’m just looking forward to getting going. It’s gone back a while but I’ve just had to focus on playing for my previous club while waiting for it to happen. I’m glad that it’s all done now.

“It’s an exciting time with a lot of ambition, and I’ve got the same ambition as the club. The lads have done brilliantly throughout the season, and hopefully we can push on and see where it takes us.”

Welcome to the Shrimpers, Adam!
