Agree with all but Stevie Hammell? What could you not like about him?

Hammell was employed to defend but he was constantly out of position and was responsible for a hat full of the goals we conceded. Good set pieces and may have made a left midfielder but defender - never.

Drewe on the other hand was God. Not up to the standards of Super Roy but an adequate replacement in the fourth division.

A Drewe/ Freddy partnership wpould have been interesting.

John Keeley - Had the longest winless run in the clubs history I believe with him between the sticks. In the end we brought in a young lad called Jon O'Brien (from Maldon I think) an won a match. My heart sank every time I saw Keeley in goal.

Got it in one!! I'm sure he missed a few other chances too that night! He also missed 3 at Anfield before the Mickeys scored their first goal. He also had one of those faces you wanted to slap!!
