2024/2025 compared to 2023/2024

Updated for last night's draw at Aldershot. I didn't see or hear the game, but sounds like it was a missed opportunity to get the difference down to -3. With us winning 4 of the next 5 games last season, the difference could get a bit worse before it gets better...

After 15 games last season we were in 7th* position:

P15, W7, D3, L5. GF 25, GA 17. Pts 24*

So currently 8 places, 6 points and -9 GD worse off.

*Not including 10 point deduction

Updated for the victory against Tamworth.

Need to win on Saturday against Yeovil to keep at -5 before a chance the following Saturday to reduce the difference when we visit Altrincham.

Updated for Saturday's disappointing defeat. Difference is now 8 points, could be up to 11 in 2 weeks, before a chance to make up some points in the lead up to Christmas

After 17 games last season we were in 5th* position:

P15, W9, D3, L5. GF 33, GA 17. Pts 30*

So currently 10 places, 9 points and -16 GD worse off, compared to the same stage last season*.

Unfortunately, we are now edging very close to actually being in a better place (in the league) this time last season, even with the 10 point deduction. This depressing fact will be confirmed if we fail to pick up at least 1 point at Altrincham this weekend. :Headbang:

*Not including 10 point deduction

After 19 games last season we were in 6th* position:

P19, W9, D4, L6. GF 34, GA 20. Pts 31*

So currently 10 places, 9 points and -16 GD (GF -12 & GA +4) worse off, compared to the same stage last season*.

*Not including 10 point deduction

Updated for the draw at Woking and win at Halifax. Still 10 points short of last season, but we only gained 4 points from the corresponding next 4 games, so I'd hope that gap will be a bit narrower by the end of the year.

After 21 games last season we were in 7th* position:

P21, W10, D5, L6. GF 37, GA 22. Pts 35*

So currently 7 places, 9 points and -15 GD (GF -13 & GA +2) worse off, compared to the same stage last season*.

*Not including 10 point deduction

Updated for Saturday's drab draw with Hartlepool, which brought the difference back into single figures. No lose game on Saturday, but would be nice if we cut into the defecit, even if just by a point...

P.S. nice to see the thread referenced (sort of) in this month's AAS

After 23 games last season we were in 7th* position:

P23, W11, D5, L7. GF 40, GA 25. Pts 38*

So currently 9 places, 11 points and -18 GD (GF -16 & GA +2) worse off, compared to the same stage last season*.

*Not including 10 point deduction
