I bet Reid sincerely regrets turning down Plymouth's offer of a new contract now.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing eh.

Really hope we stay away from Nathan Tyson. Seen him play a few times over the last few years and I'm surprised he's still doing the rounds as a league footballer. Offers very little.

emmmm . I had forgotten this , but I cn recall a Phil Brown interview after the JPT final and when questioned about his team selection said that even with hindsight he woul not have changed it ! That royally ****ed me off for a long time

Fair enough. I'll admit he's one of those ones where the name has stayed with me from when he was really quick and a bit of a handful. I'm probably going back a good 5 years though!

I thought Steve Tilson was after signing him at one point .......... so that is probably more than 5 years ago now. Time flies when your team is constantly winning and going up the football league ........... oh, hang on a minute ........

5 years? That was 10 years+ wasn't it? Tyson was still at Wycombe I think.

To be honest even his starting line-up in the play-off final still annoys me!

And me -still does -6 defenders 3 attackers - The very unfit Barker instead of Phillips and Bilel out of position in midfield. 4 years on he hasn't learned at all.

I highly doubt it's Tyson. If Ebanks-Blake wasn't deemed good enough then there's no way Tyson would be.

We played Bilel out of position half of his time here with us. He was playing left wing at times.

It was odd he was played in the middle, but Sturrock played him all over as well. What was more puzzling was he had been in exile and then brought in .

I thought he let his 'back-room' staff pick it, as they knew the players better than him, at that stage?.

I'm with you BBBL as I think you were referring to the JPT Final mentioned in the post above 'Kris's post and if so, I agree.

I didn't think PB had much say in the selection that day.
