If you become a free agent after the window closes you must wait until the next window.
I am thinking it must be this way really- otherwise you could create transfers between windows by the 'selling' club cancelling the players contract and a new 'buying' club then signing the player up. Given how many transfers are frees anyway that would not be in issue. If this were allowed effective there would be no windows for free transfers.

Good shout, though I doubt PB will consider it as he let him go far too easily when we had him on trial. I could of course be wrong.

Absolutely is. The Christmas shop is going in at Alton Garden Centre and the Card Factory already has it's Christmas stock in so you must be right. Pah.
 
Wow, the next wonder kid when scoring on debut for Man United, then ends up at Burton! Just goes to show that the life of a footballer can change immensely!
