Throwing kids into the first team is never going to work. They need to be slowly developed and eased into the first team. Having no reserve football will not help us at all and is just another one of the negatives about the EPPP. I'm all for giving youth players a chance, but we can't throw them in at the deep end and expect them to swim.

We've still got players like Leonard, Laird, Hurst, Timlin, Straker etc, so we wouldn't need to play all of them at once. Just blood them more.

A year or so back I would of been well happy at that news. I have grown quite fond of him now, he has started to develop really well. Would be a shame to lose him but not irreplaceable.

Can't argue with that - it strikes me that last year's squad were not good enough over the season, so I'm not that bothered if any of them leave!
