The question remains though.
The money has gone/is going where?
I will keep asking until the answers sre evident.
Is that unreasonable?

It does matter. If the club absorb big money (big for us) and then it goes AWOL, what does it tell you about the ambition of the club?
Quite as lot in my mind.
I appreciate your point that we won't spend it all one one player, of course not, that would be appalling business.
However, if the club has any ambition whatsoever, even if the money isn't ear-marked for A.Player, as supporters and therefore wage-payers we want - no, need to know where OUR money is going.
Any club is nothing without supporters.
RobM.
OUR money? What on earth are you talking about?
No club would exist without supporters. Yes it IS OUR money fundementally!
I'm not the manager so that question is rheotoric.
I work for an oil company in which you may have shares. Which company should we buy platinum reformer catalyst from?
See my point?
I think it's a reasonable asssertion to make that the vast majority of funds generated into football come from supporters through ticket sales, merchandise sales or subscription media channels.

Jam a sort of valid point BUT if you didn't buy the oil that would be a sale lost. Maybe you'd get bad customer service and tell your mates.....Once a business is on the slide it's so difficult to it back on track.
Leeds for example.
