Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Transfer Thread - Summer 2025 Edition.

Transfer news
Any idea why Kelleher went home? Unless he has pressing family concerns there it seems a bit of an odd move.
We would have liked him to stay but due to budget concerns he was rumoured to have been offered less than previously by us for a new contract. One of his mates in the soccer world had just taken over as manager at Cork heard he was out of contract and offered him a great deal, also the Kelleher family had just welcomed their 1st child so it was attractive to them to bring the child up with family support back in Cork. He said he always intended to move back there eventually but at 29 although it was a bit early for him he felt he was in at the start of a big project at the club. He put a lovely piece in the local paper saying how much he enjoyed his time with us and hoped to come back to the area to visit the club from time to time, he is a really great bloke and a sad loss.

Maidstone , who lost in the play offs to Boreham Wood have snapped up Jamie Yila from Chatham. I did hope we might be interested in the pacey and versatile mid/forward
However the 22 year old can now step up another level and see how he goes with the Stones, they will probably be in the hunt again to join the Nat League this season coming

Be nice woukdnt it rather than scrolling for news and getting silly puns.
I’d be a little surprised if anything is officially announced whilst season cards are off sale.

Announcing the new signing Friday, with them in the new kit would make a lot more sense. That way you can plug season cards and the new kit.

The club seem determined to plug the leaks so even if anyone is having a medical today ahead of reporting to training tomorrow I wouldn’t expect it to be reported just yet.

If players are due back to training tomorrow Chris Phillips might have some news tomorrow from the training ground about imminent signing(s) without naming them.

Not one for us, but a player well liked by SZ

Rochdale have signed midfielder Anthony Mancini on a one-year deal.
The Frenchman, 24, spent the last two seasons with Hartlepool United, playing 39 games and scoring five goals.
By all accounts the Hartlepool fans reckon he is a class player but a regular sicknote.
