Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Transfer Thread - Summer 2025 Edition.

Transfer news
Afternoon Shrimpers, York fan here, hope you don't mind me popping in. Our current squad size is 30 and at least 8 of those are either surplus to requirements or will be out on loan. Also, to the person who enquired about Cordner, I'll drive him to the Essex Riviera myself on the condition that he has to play when we face you.
Are you Shrimpet Steve in disguise?

Yes we are short on centre backs at present, Flanagan hasn’t signed a new deal yet and Kelleher has left to go back home to his home town club of Cork City. The rumour was Robbie had cut the budget due to being in the process of selling the club, that deal has fallen through now so he may put a bit more cash into the club for this season. Ben Goodliffe is back with the squad looking settled and happy doing pre season stuff so it looks like he is staying unless he asks for a move. Of course it will depend on who the Cowley's bring in and if they see Ben as a long term squad member, it could go either way!
Was this one something you expected? Do you think it may effect Goodliffe opportunity?
