DAZN

If you want a taster of DAZN as a service you can sign up for free on their app and watch the CWC (Club World Cup) currently running in the US. Another Saudi fed machine.
Its on Channel 5 as well with all the DAZN stuff.

Re the Saudi deal. They purchased a stake in DAZN for $1bn then DAZN bid $1bn for the Club World Cup in which was an uncontested competition fir the broadcasting rights.

I presume Zuirch has run out of brown envelopes.

Absolutely, I did watch 1 match on C5, stadium 1/3 full, competition offers nothing for the viewer and I bet the players are hating it and would much rather be relaxing somewhere with their families. There is too much football in general and it seems player welfare is somewhere near the bottom of FIFA/UEFA concerns. I'd scrap that Nations League competition as well.

It will be interesting to see how the teams that progressed to the later stages from Europe (PSG, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid etc) get on in their domestic leagues.

They'll more than likely finish this tournament, give the players a 2 week break before pre-season starts and they fly around the world to participate in some money spinning tour.

Yes, Chelsea coped reasonably well last season by basically having 2 teams. Looks like they are looking to offload around 10 players over this break to meet PSR and raise revenue for a couple of new players. Oh to have that luxury, not that we'll have that many games.

1 games for £9.99 or at least 5 games a month for £19, I know which ones I would pay.
The one game for £9.99 was actually a weekly subscription that they increased to £14.99 sometime in March when there often two “watchable” games a week in the Uk - international weekends 5.30 kickoffs and bank holidays as well as midweek. I reckon they must have sussed they got their pricing wrong as often 2 games were viewable for £9.99.

Don’t think they have announced weekly subscriptions for 25/26 yet.

There are quite a few exempt 3pm Saturday kick offs - I guess 2nd August is one of them so all games can be shown - shame we don’t start until 9 th !

Get a fire stick with a 60 quid a year fee, job done. Greedy Sky and DAZN are creating illegal access with there ever increasing prices just to pay the ridiculous wage demands in the Premiershite

There is always the little black stick of fire from a well known online retailer and IPTV 🤷‍♂️
Issue is reliability. Most games I watched last season (genuinely most) didnt start streaming till 10 mins into it, some even longer.

Then had a lot of issues with buffering etc. Was a stress and a pain in the *** most days. Provider wasnt that interested (at times she could see I was literally the only person watching anything NL lol).

Yes, I have heard the same from people with the sticks. The reliability is why a lot of people won't do it.

You need a different IPTV supplier. Mine started a minute or two at most into the game. The only goal I would have missed was Yeovil and I was in the crowd!

Had a few issues, but happy to put up with it for access to watch all the games.

Yes they do start around 3 minutes in to the game (other Leagues half hour before) but the reliability and picture quality is the same as DAZN …..as they ramp up the prices, no brainer for a very small inconvenience

During the playoff campaign, for which DAZN's coverage was generally pretty sound, I think I heard it mentioned that "you can watch your team next season upto 15 times on DAZN". While we all know that "upto" includes the number "0", it does suggest that there will be a fair number of 12.30/5.30 kick offs along with scheduled evening games and international breaks. It's a load of bollocks really!
I also can't quite understand why, if we know which PVN's work surely it's not rocket science for DAZN to block them. I guess we'll find out next season.

It has been an eye opener reading all the responses (thank you everyone). As a very old git, I understand nothing about firesticks and iptv, so it looks as though I shall have to try a month DAZN subscription and see how it casts from my computer with it's van.

. The National League coverage was much better on TNT sport you always had a 5 30 game Saturday evening and sometimes 12 30 and generally no picture or sound problems

NL streams during the TNT era (that weren't on TNT's main channel) were mostly horrendous.

Nearly half the games were recorded on cameras slowly turning sideways, or out of focus.

NL streams during the DAZN era are at least watchable, it's the quality of the football that makes it unwatchable.

Regarding exposure, DAZN sucks. I don't think anyone has been able to re-watch any of the play offs. From a neutral's perspective, it's as if the game didn't happen and never existed.
