Probably the fact that there isn’t anything close. LS usually gives us hints towards the end of the process. Seems very quiet for us though this summer which is frustrating.Has LS been put off posting again due to people Discussing about Cashman or just leaks from agents been semi-plugged?
Mmm. Could be a matter of our first choice targets in high demand so it’s waiting and reacting to what happens. Not ideal for us fans!Probably the fact that there isn’t anything close. I noticed a few clubs have starters returning to training - Barnet being one today looking at social media.
I think you may be right, the level of players we should be looking at may also consider they have a chance to play in the EFL (like Cashman) so we may need to be patient as their agents tout them around before agreeing a move to the National League.Mmm. If we're picking someone up who's contract has expired this year at their club - would we need to wait until post 30th June to announce?
I'm comforting myself that 1st July we'll roll out all our signings, such as Dion Pereira, once their contracts actually expire.....is this a thing?

First pre season game is less than 3 weeks away now so hopefully will hear some new rumours about incoming pretty soon if we are seriously planning to get more in PRE season this time round and there is also that away tour to consider big new bondings

Added to that the plugging of leaks within the club mean we don’t hear as many rumours as we used toz
Under Kev, we have never had “loads” of transfer rumours really, I think people are over exaggerating when they look back.
Until PB, he used to love a sound bite. We are after a centre forward who played in league one last season, we are talking to a centre back from a league two club etc those types of rumours.
Kev keeps his cards close to his chest. He doesn’t give out those type of sound bites, hence less rumours.
It’s normally only London Shrimper that puts rumours out, or at least names then. CP will tweet when a deal is pretty much done. Just look at for Spasov.
As I stated before. London Shrimper puts out a name, we “discuss” this, and we enjoy it for a day or two. However, if we don’t sign the player, we then blame London Shrimper for naming them in the first place. He can’t win.
We are talking to players, clubs, agents. We are doing DD, we are looking into data etc etc all the normal stuff involved with signing players. You are mad if you don’t think we are. We are being contacted by agents daily about players.
Work is happening.
Agree and well put.It blows my mind that every single summer so many on here stress when we haven’t got 10 new signings by the end of June.
It’s literally the same every year - players go on holiday, we miss out on a few targets (like everyone does) but we eventually get a squad togerher.
I’d love for us to have everyone in by the start of pre-season training but we’re not the most attractive option for every player we’re after and the DD etc takes time.
I’d rather we take our time and get the right bunch of players to give us the best chance this season rather than panic buy at the start of the summer just so everyone is through the door to really take the game to Great Wakering.
I believe he has been offered a pro deal. What's happening with Jack stone? Scored alot of goals last season, surely could be worth promoting and given a chance.
We need to stop wanting to throw youngsters in as soon as they score goals at youth level. So many attackers we have thrown in too early whether that’s choice or we had to. Jason Williams , Wabo, Acquah, Rush. Sandat to name some. Few loans let them get men football experienceWhat's happening with Jack stone?
