Yes nightmare…I have booked half a days leave and had to cancel an important meeting as have to be there. Can’t take my boys being a school night and work the following morning, so will be getting home about 2am and then up at 6,30, the things we do for our football club!I'm gutted.
This is the first big southend game I've missed...ever. simply can not change plans. 40 odd years.![]()
I'm in Prague....Yes nightmare…I have booked half a days leave and had to cancel an important meeting as have to be there. Can’t take my boys being a school night and work the following morning, so will be getting home about 2am and then up at 6,30, the things we do for our football club!
Feel for you…what a crap day to hold such an important gameI'm in Prague....
I'm in Skiathos.I'm in Prague....
A bit tight with cone partyNever underestimate our fan base. I wouldn’t be surprised if it sells out. I’ve already filled my car with 6 of us
Allow an additional hour to settle the penalty shootout.Whatever Dale give, we will fill.
If the fixture was reversed I doubt Dale would sell more than 600.
Getting to Manchester on a Thursday is a proper barsteward. If it goes to extra time then it could be 2am before fans get home..
Yep trying to get the day off work but going to prove a tricky one, especially with a potential semi final to follow week after, probably won't be able to do both. Total joke.Really is a ****take that it’s on a Thursday. No reason the games can’t be on weekends.
Yeah I booked it (and the previous day with the other tie) off a few weeks ago just in case. But it being the Thursday means I’ll be knackered at work the next dayYep trying to get the day off work but going to prove a tricky one, especially with a potential semi final to follow week after, probably won't be able to do both. Total joke.
I think it’s perfectly fair to question why all the games are on weekdays when the weekends are all available, and I would have done so even if it was an easier trip to Eastleigh or Sutton for exampleI don't get some people on here. The potential play-off dates were announced weeks ago. Those same individuals were hoping and praying we'd get into the play-offs and now they are complaining. The potential opponents being in the north of England and away has impacted travel arrangements. Should our opponents only be local?
It's the price of not finishing 4th or 5th? The club is to blame for that. You can't have it both ways!
And given that the first games don’t take place until almost 2 weeks after the last league fixture.I think it’s perfectly fair to question why all the games are on weekdays when the weekends are all available, and I would have done so even if it was an easier trip to Eastleigh or Sutton for example
Euston is the obvious choice, LNWR do cheaper fares if you're prepared to go slower and change at Crewe. So what site people booking trains from? And it’s Euston the train goes from?
Ok so despite his less than impressive form we seem to do better when he plays .. so Kev picking him is understandable. I know Bridge and Husin get a lot of stick but Kev can rely on them. They’re known quantities.
If we win 1-0 and Gateshead draw, then am I right that a draw would not be enough next week if Halifax lost as well due to goals scored?
played there. Recon we can be looking at 1000 plus for this one. 16 of us and a mini bus going up early Monday

Best garlic bread with cheese and chips you'll have the pleasure of tasting (Broadway Grill).
Rochdale, like most of those satellite towns around the Manchester area is a complete sh1thole so I for one will probably pass on one of their dodgy local takeaways.
Not for me, it fits my work patterns perfectly.Really is a ****take that it’s on a Thursday. No reason the games can’t be on weekends.
I think it’s perfectly fair to question why all the games are on weekdays when the weekends are all available, and I would have done so even if it was an easier trip to Eastleigh or Sutton for example
The play-offs being played have zero impact on when the Non-League Finals Day is.Have you cared to look at what fixture is being played and that this date would have been secured at the beginning of the competition before any finalists would have been known?....
The FA Trophy. So the weekend is not available. The following weekend is the FA Cup final. Also the NL play off games are not the only games that are being played midweek. 7 from 12 of the EFL playoffs are being played between a Monday and Friday.
So what your saying is wait till all the clubs have finished the season and then set the dates of the play-offs? Don't you think the TV broadcasters have a say on the dates of the games of not just the NL but also the EFL?The play-offs being played have zero impact on when the Non-League Finals Day is.
The final being when it is is fine but there's no reason the fixtures could not be Saturday/Saturday and then a 2 week break to the final
