To be fair if a player is getting abuse of fans the player will give it back to them
If you don’t like it back at you don’t give it
@chelmo Perhaps the odd flying Kung fu kick into the crowd would sort things out?

What on Earth are you on?It was her fault, your Honour. She was wearing a short skirt.
Really ?Do you remember how this came about?
I think it might be worth having a word with opposition players who score and then parade in front of said North Bank, or in any football ground.
No excuse for hurling objects, but why not prevention better than cure?
You see, I would argue it's not emotional.Really ?
Do we want to sanitise Football even more ?
Opposition players have been given stick the world over since forever.
Opposition players rubbing it home fans faces is also part of the 'pay back'.
That's Football - the game we all love.
Give it ( verbally ) and take it back ( verbally ).
Anything beyond that is wrong , and we all know that , but please don't take the emotion away from the game.
VAR is already doing that in Premier League
I'm sorry , but I don't agree at all.You see, I would argue it's not emotional.
Usually, the goal has been scored, and the scorer is arms folded or similar in front of opposition fans.
What does he hope to achieve?
Yeah, he wants the fans to scream abuse at him, but I would venture one day it's going to turn ugly.
Please note, NO player does at The New Den.
Agreed it's opinion, but my point is one day it's not going to be just 'bants' or whatever, it's going to be serious violence - and have said this three times in this one thread.I'm sorry , but I don't agree at all.
Opposition player gets stick all game and then scores.
In my opinion it's the total opposite of 'not emotional'.
I really don't get your point here.
But it's fine - opinions and all that.
Did they get themselves a stadium ban ??? On the video it looked like they just went back into the crowdWhy did those knobheads invade the pitch yesterday and get themselves a stadium ban? I understand if it's everyone doing it after promotion etc but it's just a bit silly
I'd say only 50% of that sentence was accurate. Why did those knobheads invade the pitch yesterday and get themselves a stadium ban? I understand if it's everyone doing it after promotion etc but it's just a bit silly
They did it with live TV cameras about, plus any other cameras, and there were lots. They might not have got thrown out yesterday but they might well get a knock on the door or a letter in the post in a little while...Did they get themselves a stadium ban ??? Guy in front of us had a blazing row with the lad's father sitting a few rows back about his irresponsible behaviour in encouraging his lad to do this. Both did calm down and the situation was made perfectly clear and they kind of left, apologetically. There was one lad who went over the wall in the West Stand, galloped up to the centre spot for his obligatory selfie, then ran back and did a celebration similar to Goodliffe's when he scored to the bemused Westies near the centre line. He was obviously very pleased with himself, and Mrs RHB's only comment was 'Prat'. summed him up really.
