This is an extract from the Official site which suggests that if you are seated in the West Stand Saturday, your burger fix from the Eat Street Kiosk will be beyond reach? Happy to be disabused if I've got that wrong.

As part of our bumper crowd, we have, as of 1pm on Friday, sold over 1,000 tickets in the Solopress North Bank for home supporters and having received advice from our Safety Advisory Group, will need to shut the blue gate between the North Bank and the Gilbert & Rose Stand.

Supporters who sit in the Gilbert & Rose Stand will be able to make use of the West Stand Food Kiosks, the West Stand Bar, Wine Bar and new ‘Dugout’ bar installed in the concourse of the stand.

Well, if true, that is going to royally **** off my granddaughter who is going to the game largely with the promise of a decent burger/hot dog from Eat Street. She won't be impressed with the poor quality stuff from the West Stand outlet.

It was open for the Oldham game, so very poor and shortsighted if true.

Is Golding near a return? Although to be fair Goodliffe has stepped up after his horror show against Boston.
Believe goldings gone back to his home club to treat a hernia condition\injury. Can't see him being back unless our very low offer gets considered which I think is very unlikely. His loan deal will expire before he's fit enough to play. Be great if he came to the match but doubt we l see him again.

I thought the whole point of these kiosks is that they are portable and on wheels. Surely they can bring in one and put it behind the North Bank? These people are used to doing similar at various hospitality events as a matter of routine? We still don’t seem to be at 100% velocity when it comes to grabbing commercial opportunities (all be it we are in a different universe compared to what we put up with before). I would have thought a 1,000 potential customers may have generated a quid or two..

IF I've got it correct, then the North stand gets Eat Street, with, as you say, maybe 1000 customers. The 3000+ rest in the West get Club burgers.

Think Ebbsfleet last year- we were 1,000 odd in the away end and they had a great mobile food outlet at one end with small mobile bar and a mobile bar at the other- and doing a roaring trade all game- and if you get your pricing right, maybe bit of a happy hour before the game, advertise it all….well surely I’m teaching granny to suck eggs…aren’t I?

Not sure what we get in the East btw- haven’t risked it of late…but again no outlets outside despite acres of space…

Our added spend per head before COSU was an embarrassment (in the pence). I’m sure it’s going up but with 8k crowds we aren’t talking peanuts here

Eat Street runs on 3phase, which was installed for them in the postion they are In now.

Get Eat Street in to run the West Stand kiosk.

I bet Eat Street will be a bit disappointed again as they will be limited to the 800 customers in the North Bank instead of 3,500 in West and North.

It's not the end of the world but the club/Eat Street will lose out on my £20 or so spend tomorrow.

I’m sure all of this (hosptality) is part of a plan that maybe will take steps forward over the summer. Let’s face it hospitality companies put these facilities up at music festivals in the middle of a field. Anyway the good news is that the potential for enhanced revenue stream is there waiting to be taken advantage of.

Well I am merely giving my view as someone at the game who saw him beat his man for pace on more than one occasion, and got a number of decent balls in the box. Re ratings I am talking about on here, again a number of whom will attend matches.

But yes I would prefer him down the middle and to have a situation where we had at least one additional quality forward who can deliver (yes hold ball up, get in behind & of course score goals). They cost £££ so as I said previously hopefully we have a couple of CF versions of Parillon all lined up.

BTW assuming Sofascore isn’t a furniture retailer, or a bunch of people sat on the sofa with a keyboard, why would their opinion be carry more weight than supporters? :-)

Can you provide some examples where he outpaced someone? Are they on the highlights?

Sofascore is a data based rating so rewards things like effective crosses, effective passes rather than the SZ option of people sat on their sofa with a keyboard.

It's a good question. I can remember only one example in the game when Bonne burst free and outpaced the defender. He was heading towards the corner flag, looked up and then had to pull the ball back because none of our players were near the penalty area. He did put in a cross but it went long. It was in the second half around 55-60 minutes if I remember correctly.

Had to use the old food kiosks when they last closed the gate on Boxing Day (?) and they’ve bumped the prices up closer to the Eat Street prices but still offer the same muck
