Ticket News Gateshead (a) - Mon 5th May 2025

Sorry to ask again, but how do you get tickets for young children? I've emailed Gateshead FC but they're ignoring me.
Give it a couple more days then try phoning. A lot of clubs at this level only have one part-timer sorting out ticket admin. Usually quite helpful when you speak to them but not always around!

Terrific city!
As all living relations are there and in the hinterland, enjoyed many a great holiday/stay over the years. How long are you staying? Can recommend a decent small gem of a restaurant.
The Metrocentre has its own station.
If you kiss each other goodbye; she can get on the train to the Metrocentre direct from Newcastle Central and you on the tube (metro) to the International Stadium.

Only a two night stay,be glad of the restaurant recommendation. Always found Geordies to be a friendly bunch so looking forward to it. Mrs Templar has a match ticket too, so they’ll be no parting kisses!
Not in the best part of town, and a little bijou, but I'm told the food is top notch https://www.facebook.com/thesmallca...om/thesmallcanteen/reviews/?ref=page_internal
So, it looks as if you too might have to endure the Metrocentre? Think Westfield, btw!

Tickets bought - hopefully worth the 140 mile trip from home (that’s one way so is being incorporated as the first leg of a road trip down to a Derbyshire holiday) 💙

Is anyone flying from Heathrow for this one? I was thinking about it but not I'd get there for check in even with the Lizzie line.

Was looking at this the other day and very tempting for less than £100 rtn. But like you say getting to Heathrow that early is tricky. If I was a west London based Shrimper, I’d be all over that.

Shame there’s not an SEN to NCL option. That would of been popular.

I’m really surprised Southend aren’t organising some sort of flight package from Southend airport for this one.
I think they might be a wait and see policy.
To charter a plane ✈️ isn’t going to be cheap and if the play offs don’t materialise, the demand will plummet and the price of tickets will rise

However, if it happens it’ll be tremendous

Howsabout getting the Ark Royal (which was going to be anchored off the the end of the pier to become a nightclub, cinema etc etc) and sailing ⛵️ around to the Tyne …..
Brilliant 🤩 day out (or two). 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I did an overnight cruise back in 2018 around May bank holiday. It departed from Tilbury and headed to Newcastle. The boat then headed off on a Fjords cruise from Newcastle but for those passengers who just wanted an overnight to Newcastle could got a coach back.

From memory it only cost £50. That included usual cruise food and a cabin. An unlimited drinks package was an extra £25 which was added on and money was very much well had with that.

Think it was a way of getting the boat into its next cruising port for the season and allowed the company to recoup a little of the money. Boat was reasonably full and about 10 coaches headed back down south.
