Disappointed they have opened the South Upper. I got tickets in the East because I couldn't sit in the South Upper which is my season ticket area. Seeing it open while I'm stuck in the East is gonna really pee me off

I phoned yesterday and cancelled my East stand ticket no problem and switched to the South upper with my brother now as he wouldn't go otherwise

The idea is you stick them over the lenses to obscure your view. Apparently it will encourage those West siders to stop sulking, see the bigger picture and actually buy a ticket

I’ve always tried to see the bigger picture for 57 years now Rigs and bought that ticket, but thanks for heads up.

No bar in the South Upper. Before and after the game can access The Shrimpers Bar as thats before turnstiles. After the game you used to be able to get to the Far Post bar, but I haven't done that for a number of years so not sure if that is still possible. I don't think there's anywhere for a half time pint.
 
I sit in the West and love it, but me and my 2 lads are enjoying touring around the ground in these trophy games. North for the Southport game, which was atrocious in every way and the East on Saturday. Hopefully get to do the South Upper for the Quarter Final!

I assume those fussy haven't been to the dreadful away grounds we play at with terrible views and facilities. Just buy a ticket and enjoy the game. Up the Blues!

I’ll end up going no doubt but I’d just rather sit in the West as I prefer it. Not sure why that’s “odd”. With away games you don’t get a choice where you sit/stand. When we’re selling so many away tickets and there’s a demand I really don’t see why the whole ground isn’t open. Bit different if it’s early rounds and there’s little interest. I like my seat that’s why I chose to sit there.
