I’d have thought given the supposed wrangling on this that 1st November was chosen so that the consortium wouldn’t be liable for October’s wages and tax. I think it’s unlikely they would seek to complete a different date.
Anyway the key isn’t completion but exchange. Get is all locked in and we can relax.
Don't think so Any statement will be on take over dayI can't remember where I saw it but I read that Justin will be releasing a statement today? Is that correct?
As long as we don't hear anything yet. I would not worry As hard work behind the Sean's. Getting contract s signed and exchanged. Before the 1st of November When it's completed we will hear a lot more

I know, but talking to a staff member in the Spread, they are really struggling on non match days. Some days they get less than 5 customers all day.
Yeah The Golden Lion looks more open than the Spread Eagle! The spread has been woeful for years. Everytime a drive past it never seems to be open.
Or a gastro pub serving £20 burgersThe spread has been woeful for years. Everytime a drive past it never seems to be open.
Pubs need regular live music, quizzes and events to survive.
My local is the Railway and that is usually quite busy.
Was always my local for years when I still lived in the area and when I was back last December I walked down for one of the England World Cup games thinking it would be the place to watch it (well it was 20 off years ago) and there was only a handful of regulars in there. The spread has been woeful for years. Everytime a drive past it never seems to be open.
