There has been loads of gossip this week, but feels like there have been a few themes.

Start of the week Kimura doing DD. 2 other bidders.


Middle of the week. Estate agent arrived on the scene as bidder 2.

Kimura got unsettled by something, probably another interest given they are blowing ££ doing DD - Ron seemed to be messing them around.



End of the week. Kimura probably had some contact with Ron and maybe settled an issue / or didn’t have a meeting with ron, DD continues and the relation is straining somewhat.

Estate agent out of the game. Maybe they assessed the popularity of a partnership with Ron and thought that even as an estate agent they couldn’t be that unpopular.

The “3rd” bidder seems to developing a bit more of an interest.

How ITK the wolf is vs how much he’s a troll I don’t know, but if he is in the know which it seems he is then it looks like there’s been positive developments, depending on how reasonable Ron’s terms are.

I believe when you strip out all the “noise” (of which there is a great deal):

I think, happily, Kimura see the prize as worth the chase. Yes as a business investment that is a good match for Kimura Performance. But because there is an additional emotional connection due to local connections. We and Ron are fortunate to have such a bidder IMHO.

I don’t think there is a real, near term plan A or B. It’s a negotiation piece. And hence I think Ron is, maybe against his normal instincts, not going to push this too far. Don’t forget it’s not just the club at stake but the timely progress of the development.

I keep coming back to this core belief, and little of the tittle tattle seems to have sufficient legs that would make me doubt it.

And I really, really hope I am not wrong.

Other than that I conclude that we must just sit in the dark and wait.

Agree except you then say there will be a plan A and plan B as if it’s fact. I would argue it’s just more conjecture :-)

Again i agree, it just always makes me chuckle.

Thats the problem for ITK’s they can only let on what they have heard, that may be good or bad info as it depends whats been told to their person. Sometimes thats 3rd or 4th hand. People take it far to seriously in my opinion, it is what it is though

I really appreciate any updates that the reliable ITK's are able to give. Yes they can only post in good faith with the info they have, which is given to them in good faith. It is obviously a fast changing scenario and, at the end of the day, Ron is probably the only person who truly knows what the latest situation is. My thanks to the ITK's for keeping us as informed as they can.
