How you get round this is by verbally sharing this information with someone who isn’t under a NDA who then freely posts it. I believe this is what you called journalism but is equally what the actual ITKs do by posting as proxies for their sources.

So long as the information can’t be attributed to any one person/side and it’s not market sensitive information (eg if one of the parties is listed) you can usually get away with it. Sometimes it will aggravate the other side and they’ll tell you to cut down the leaks on your side.

Think he’s linked to the club rather than Ron specifically. He may also have more than one source.

People get bent out of shape if there is news and if there isn’t news.

I agree with what you say 100% based on my knowledge of NDA’s, and what you say about verbally sharing happens a lot, but in some ways that is actually a breach of the NDA is. It not as it is information under the NDA that shouldn’t be shared.

Again I agree with what you say thats what happens, just makes me chuckle as it is breaching an NDA I would think

Of course it is a breach. But if they don’t know who breached it what can they do about it?

Once Kimura broke cover with the Athletic story people feel like they can speak more freely about it. You’ll have seen that there were several who knew that story was coming out but didn’t say more than hinting at. They’ve been more forthcoming since. That’s partly about protecting their sources.

In contrast there’s very little been leaked about the other party(ies?) bidding.
 
I don't have the screen shot as I am - like for the last few weeks - pretending to work at my computer.

Again i agree, it just always makes me chuckle.

Thats the problem for ITK’s they can only let on what they have heard, that may be good or bad info as it depends whats been told to their person. Sometimes thats 3rd or 4th hand. People take it far to seriously in my opinion, it is what it is though

As everyone is desperate to get out of Ron Martin stranglehold of Southend Utd FC. It’s natural that they take any news and hints seriously.

The court have adjourned SUFC until 12th of July, as they received evidence that we will have a buyer for the club, otherwise they would close us down for good.

And sometimes they won’t even share what they’ve been told.

But this board has a remarkable collection of posters with good connections and you won’t necessarily good the full picture but you often get enough snippets that you can piece together enough of it to work out what’s what (providing you filter out the chancers, the know nothings and the posters complaining about the ITKs) long before any official announcement. There are well over a dozen generally reliable posters who have snippets of information that have been proven to be right way more often than they were wrong.
