For those not concerned about a local property magnate purchasing our beloved club can I just present some evidence as to why local property magnates shouldn't own football clubs... *gestures at the last 25 years*

I'm not particularly enthusiastic about city boys taking over the club either but since [political viewpoint redacted] isn't an option in Britain, I guess we will continue to allow rich people to do as they wish with cultural community assets across the country.

I hear what you’re saying, but the character of the people who ultimately take charge is probably the most important thing.

In addition, it’s no good having deep pockets if you’ve got short arms and don’t care about collateral damage as you go along.
Exactly. Just richer version of Ron who aren't really going to be interested in the footballing side of things. They probably pay the tax bill on time as they don't want to tarnish there reputation but I doubt they would be that interested in getting the club back into the football league. Just pay day and off we go job.

I know not reply to me but I do agree we will most likely be sold and survive upcoming dates.
I just think we have differing opinions of the gravity of the court hearing and the chances of us competing in the league deminishes with every day that passes.
We clearly want the same thing. A competitive club we can enjoy, so fingers crossed this is all sorted asap.

Hundred percent.

It's funny, in real life, I'm a worrier. Really basic adulting scares the **** out of me!

But with the club? I don’t know. In my eyes, we've not been this close publicly to getting what we want.

Yet it seems some actually want us not to be sold and the inevitable end, just do they can say, told you so.

I'm choosing to be zen about it.

Will it blow up In my face? Maybe.

But I'm chosing to believe.

That’s not what we want is it, and hopefully not what we’ll get either. We have no choice but to wait and see. Not all minted businesspeople are Rons fortunately.

Good way to be. At the end of the day, all we have is hope and belief. None of us can influence what happens next. Just have to hope and wait!
Am really looking forward to the party in the carpark when we can look towards a brighter future for a while.
I recall that feeling when a certain Mr Jobson sold up and new messiah's took over 🤔

Yes, I think the sticking point is Roots Hall.

Ron prob vaules it what it could be, not what it is now. Which is miles apart in valuation terms between buyer n Ron. Common sense needs to be apply. This won't be the case as it's Ron
I'd be surprised if anyone wants to buy Roots Hall. Ron can't sell because he can't then build in the land.

My guess is that anyone buying would most likely take a lease on Roots Hall for however long they expect it to take to build Fossetts Farm. My guess would be 2 years.
