Steve Arnold departs for Sutton

It is what it is I'm afraid. If the Justham rumours are confirmed then will be a half decent replacement together with Collin. Good luck Steve and I hope you remember your time with us fondly, we will always love you mate. I wonder if you will get your own QUO song were you are going.

I like Steve but he does carry some injuries, we defo need a keeper now. For me Colin isnt up to it decent back up but not first choice.

My concern is how long will the finalising of this take over take, some others will surely be thinking the same as Murphy and you can understand that as they need an income as well

Always dissapointing when experienced players leave however they were both Injury prone.
Will be more upset if likes of Cav and Bridge upped and left

This is a shame - but if he’s been offered a couple of years elsewhere you can’t blame him.

if It is Justham we’re after, I can’t wait to see what he has that Arnold doesn’t.

Such a shame. Looked so much better and more comfortable at the end of the season after the op. I love a commanding keeper, and one that looks big in goal. I was expecting him to have his best season with us this new season coming, being fully fit and pain free. Really liked by everyone at the club I'm told as well. And loved our fans. Very best of luck Big Steve.

Seen a fair bit of shade thrown on Steve Arnold for his injury record with us. If I remember correctly I believe he asked for an operation which RM pushed back on and refused to pay and in the end SA paid for it out his own pocket. So bare that in mind he would’ve probably been back a lot sooner than was the case. I was also told the same happened with Cardwell's operation. His old man paid for it.
