Your Favourite Ground?

Away from Britain - I've only seen two matches, at the Amsterdam Arena and the Stadio Municipal in Palamos, Catalonia.

Needless to say which was the best, although was shocked by a definate lack of atmosphere.

His nickname has just come to me - it was Chopper (for reasons best known to himself, and those that shared the urinals with him, I suspect.

I'm going to be controversial and say i like Layer Road.

Obviously, it's not the Millennium Stadium in terms of quality and facilities but it's got a cracking terrace in the away end and you can make a good amount of noise in there. Also, it holds some good memories. I'm not gonna say i hate it just cos it's Col Ewe's ground.
I'd choose somewhere like Layer Road over somewhere like The Galpharm or Kassam any day of the week.

I'm with you there James, I rather like Layer Road.

I'd much rather go to a dilapidated ramshackle ground like that than somewhere soulless like the Kassam.

Too add to the controversy, I like Park Lane...partly cos of the fantastic memories of the 3-2 win there and also cos it's a great location looking out over the sea.

It was only the England v Iceland friendly with all the family daytrippers but for me the CofM was one of the most soul-less stadiums I've been too.

I agree with Vange Shrimper's grounds

Also Notts Forest would be excellent to hold a gig there. The accustics in that place were brilliant when the Forest fans sung.
