Your favourite ever substitution?

Didn't Tilson also bring himself on against Oxford at home a few years back (Mark Rawle's return game)? Seem to remember he was on for about 30 seconds before squaring up to their centre back and more or less nutting him.

Yeah I remember that, he seemed quite aggressive when he came on, out of character for him. I think that was Till's last ever appearance in a Blues shirt. Drewe ended up getting sent off! Also recall Darryl coming up for a corner in injury time, I don't think he ever did it again

Martin Ling against Wigan 20 years ago we are 2-0 down against Wigan we are going down they r going up, Ling rips them to shreads scores one sets up the other 2 and we win 3-2

Darlington at home, Play-Off season in League 2.

On comes Freddy Eastwood at 0-0, scores one, sets up Mark Bentley for the other. 2-0 win.

Great move! :)

Swansea away 2003 - cracking game. We're down to 8 men and protecting a 2-1 advantage with just stoppage time to go. The 'sensible' substitution sees striker Leon Constantine replaced by defender Mark Warren - who promptly storms down the other end and grabs a third. Meaning that swansea's late stoppage time consolation goal was just that - a consolation...

freddy when we won 2-1 at blackpool

gymer did come on against hartlepool in 85 and scored 1 of the 2 goals in the last minutes when we were 2-1 down. i think roy got the other.

i know it aint a southend sub but i'll always remember when we played oxford, all match abuse was thrown at Rawle and when he was gonna come on the judas chants started and he threw the biggest strop i have ever seen, he threw his jumper to the ground, i was cracking up.
