Your biggest traitor?

Got no issue with Bailey, however Cort's celebrations at Selhurst Park left a lot to be desired.

How can you have no issues on Bailey? I'm very shocked at this.

Bailey is a ****, make no ends about it, the way he engineered a move away from this Club was disgraceful as where his comments at the time.

I understand about wanting to play at the highest level possible, I do, but the way he went about it was wrong. Eastwood and Gower both left to Clubs in the division above us and both would be welcomed back with open arms, whereas Bailey will get abuse left right and centre for the way he went about it.

I've always hated Searle but after all this time I can't remember why !!! Its the years catching up with me.

How could you hate Searley? he was a proper lege.

And his goal against Rushden went down a treat!

I mention this as tomorrow night we play Newcastle in a friendly and it is the first time alan "Judas" smith will play against the team he professed to love. There is a fairly large away following going, many with strong feelings towards the man still.

So come on, who splits you lot down the middle? Who is Southend's marmite player?

Not meaning to get in a heated discussion with your views mate, but is the Judas part in the fact that Smithy went to Man United. Other than that, he was an absolute legend for your lot (Hence being carried aloft after relegation) by your lot. I have experienced this row in the stands afew times during England games with Mancs and Leeds fans.

In my opinion, he gave Leeds a thousand percent all of the time, maybe more. I think he more than paid his dues. In realistic terms, a move to Man United must be hard to turn down!!!

From a Southend Point of view...I would agree with Fry and Bailey big time and Cort a little. Rawle also grates me as does Mark Gower to a certain extent.

The most recent player for me though is JCR, over-rated and in-effective for us....I felt he owed us a good season and after he jumped ship he had the cheek to run half the length of the pitch when he scored against us for Barnsley in that FA Cup game!!!!

Not so much a traitor, but don't forget Nicky Nicolau who wanted to join 'big club' Swindon Town.

I have always detested Andy Woodman after he turned down a permanent deal with us to sign for The Scum.

I rated him but was under the impression that when Dave Webb returned for the 3rd time in 2000, he's main aim was to get rid of the high earners and loanees (which Woodman was) and that was that!.

In more recent times is got to be Bailey for the way he acted refusing to play etc. Got no issues with the man wanting to play for a better club but as Gower showed there are ways to do it and he chose the other way.

Fry,Stein and Howell will always be scum of the highest order and if any of them were to cark it right now I would dance on there grave.

Finally Nathan Jones I will always ****ing hate for hsi behaviour. Again a total utter ******.

Nicky "i'm not playing " Bailey of course.

Leon Cort for that despicable celebration to the fans that cheered his name at the start. What a ******.

But without question at the top of my hate list and a few others i see..
..yes it's B. Fry.

We loved him as manager, we loved his style of management and when he ****** off we basically endured 10yrs of suffering before one of his old midfielder's took the helm.
And who could forget him coming back? That was before he started to take our players! The report showed Ricky Otto ripping apart Brady's lot and where did he go to later that season?

I couldn't help myself but give abuse to Fry when we played Posh last year, seeing that smug **** sitting in the prawn sarnie chairs behind the dug-outs, amazing that i was not joined by a few other voices of discontent that day.

You could certainly hear voices, all the way back to Brummieland on that New Year's Day. Roots Hall was roaring alright, with disgust, hatred and vile chanting.
It was the least we could do.

My dear chap (and others that have mentioned the same thing) this is an incredibly short-sighted thing to say. You need to remember how we signed him from Barnet to start with.

Don't remember too many people being shocked and appalled by his behaviour when it was for our benefit.....
