I mention this as tomorrow night we play Newcastle in a friendly and it is the first time alan "Judas" smith will play against the team he professed to love. There is a fairly large away following going, many with strong feelings towards the man still.

Not sure. I know he agreed a new deal then cleared off to Oxford the same day and signed for them. I liked Mark Rawle but that kinda dicked me off

After giving him a very warm reception prior to kick off with a few chants of "Leon, Leon..." only for him to then celebrate right in front of us as he did was very, very poor on his part.

It was poor of him, but don't forget it was his first goal for Palace.

I see Rawle has been mentioned on here as well, someone I thought of to begin with, he didn't celebrate when he scored for Oxford against us.

Although not a player, when Judas Fry and his gang of mercenarys returned here on new years day 1994, a month after his defection to Birmingham. To this very day that was the best start to a new year i have ever experienced. I still have that game on video, and the atmosphere that day was something never to be forgotten.
