You have to cut three players from the first team squad to balance the books. Who would it be and why ?

Personally I would go Juppy as I think we could about cover him, Bart as I dont think he challenges Darryl enough and Pettifer as whilst I like him I feel we could survive if we lost him.

Dave, most of the time I appreciate the input you add to this board as i'm sure do many others....

But threads like this are really not needed, it can only have a negative effect on the players that read this board and especially on the ones that are concerned in this particular thread.

We need to support ALL the players in the squad, they can all do a good job if called upon and Tilly obviously agrees or he wouldnt have them here in the first place.

Please divert your negative energies elsewhere.

The Bart comment interested me the most, not to reignite old debates. However why do you think that Darryl has shown the marked improvement and consistency? Its not becuase of competition from the Goat is it. Bart has done just as much for the Goalkeeping situation at RH than Darryl, Both are very good goal keepers who take there chance and hold onto it becuase they realise that the other is more than capable.

I think this is one of the few occasions the incredibly annoying "easy, easy" chant would be appropriate.

Yes, I would really release 3 out of 4 first team defenders and play only one defender (and only because he has scored a dozen goals in the last year or so).

I think a lot of people are in agreement with you over the easy chant. It is, to say the least, crap and used in completely the wrong context. 5-0 up is easy, 4-0 up isn't.

Although I believe it's acceptable when the opposition goalie gifts us a goal like last Saturday.....
