Ticket News York City (a) - Sat 21st Dec 3pm

I had a bit of an anal moment yesterday and counted the grey dots. By my count we had moved 450 tickets already (give or take a grey dot obviously).
A few of us are in hospitality so they will have to be added to our numbers.

Just got a pass to drive up to York on Saturday, my boy has booked his train tickets already so he'll go on his own and i'll be driving up sharpish after work.
Buzzing already 😄
Just wanted to share that with the group 🤣

"Jingle bells, jingle bells, oh what fun it is to see the Southend win away"

Our support never ceases to amaze me.

We keep serving up dross and yet fans still remain resolute in support of the club
To be fair we are Southend United. We're hardly known for serving up brilliant winning football. Even during our last promotion, I don't think we scored more than 2 in a game at home.

Not going to pretend it's a great watch at the moment, but at least I like the players. More than I can say for about 70 per cent of my time supporting the club.

Shall be at York, to be fair it is the type of game that suits us.

We won't sell out! But there may be a price increase on the day, I'm not sure?
From the York site:

All tickets are subject to a £2 increase on the day of a match, applicable from midnight on a matchday

The rest of the ticket stuff is here, including an 80p booking charge!

MATCH TICKET PRICES

Ticket sales in advance of match day at the LNER Community Stadium will be charged at:

  • Adult: £22
  • Concession (Over 65): £17
  • Student: £10
  • Aged 12-16: £10
  • Aged 11 & under*: £7
  • Carers**: FREE when accompanying a paid ticket holder
Please note an £0.80p booking fee is applicable per ticket.

All tickets are subject to a £2 increase on the day of a match, app

Around 500 for a long journey to a game we are likely to get hammered in is outstanding.

Best fans in the league bar none
