Bit late in the day for some sensible chat...I should imagine most of you are off out in your coracles with your nets, getting some fodder in for tea.

But, if truth be told, this is a lovely looking site...very clean and tidy, not much swearing...it is in Essex though, but I've had my booster jabs so I should be OK. Looking forward to a bit of a chat ...sometime.

Why stop there, Boudicea did a proper job on scumsville, just paint a red cross in sheeps blood on your door and the shrimper of death and the wanderer of death will pass by leaving your gaff untouched.

Well, everybody seems to be fairly chipper at the moment and upbeat about tomorrow.

Personally, I think this game will be one of the biggest tests for WWFC this season. if we win, this will establish us as contenders for a top six finish. If we draw that's an ok result, 1 point away from home etc. If we lose, that will confirm my fears that we are flattering ourselves at the moment with our league position.

I'm hungry...time for lunch.

I am not doubting your confidence in WWFC, but isn't it way too early to say who should finish in a top six/seven spot? any team from the bottom upwards can end up in the zone come May 2005, as was proved by Hartlepool a few seasons back! [bottom in Oct, but made the play-offs come May!].

Wycombe have not been in the bottom division for a few years now... teams that come down, tend to under-estimate this division [Bristol Rovers for one] and end up bottom half at the end of the campaign.

You don't need any further proof of that than to see where Notts County and Grimsby are currently... a couple of seasons back they were playing the likes of West Hamsters, Forest and Norwich!

Just telling you how it is and as I say, it's not exactly a criticism... but you do seem to be getting ahead of yourself! there are several lowly teams in this division, that can easily give us all a lesson in football... EG: we haven't lost at Rochdale [Spotland] for several seasons, but they beat us 2-0 this year!
