Worst Team to ever visit Roots Hall (98-05)

Can't remember the year (1999/00?) but must be Brighton.  They made Gordon Connelly (still plodding along at Berwick) look a superb player, if only for 45 mins!

I was fortunate enough to miss the Chester game this season but Rushden looked a shocking side, the easiest 3-0 win we will ever have. Halifax as well a few seasons ago mainly because they did make Pony Richards look good! Incidentally Proud Shrimper labelled him 'God' after that game.

Here we go again. Please stop, my nerves can't take it

I can confirm that Proud Shrimper DID label Pony Richards GOD and not good

He also said Gordon Connelly looked a good aquisition after seeing him in a friendly at Billericay.

I looked at him after 10mins against Plymouth and said he would be crap

And boy was I right
