Worst one game wonders ever.

DTS

The Business
Off the top of my head I can think of 20+ players who played once never to be seen again as we realised they were crap.

Who is the worst of the worst though.

I reckon Yemi Abidoudi or whatever his surname was wins hands down. I have never seen a bloke over estitamte how fast he was when knocking the ball ahead of him than Yemi. H

He had less ability to trap a ball than my old man and his positional sense was terrible.

Surely their cant be a worse one game wonder than himcan there

Joe Allen! At least i think thats how you spell his name. Didnt he get pulled off before half time by Barry Fry cos he was so awful?

Marek Szmid.

Away at Leyton Orient and we were two-nil down after about 30mins and playing sh*te. Due to a striker shortage Szmid, who was supposed to be a midfielder, was playing alongside Belgrave. At HT he was subbed, and I don't think he ever played for us again.

Also remember Newman sending the players out for the second half of that game barely two minutes after the whistle had blown for HT, due to how bad they were playing!

Here

Petr Belsvik QPR Away

Tony Currie : Pulled a muscle before he even got on the pitch, never to be seen again

Best one game wonder Lee Chapman
1 game 1 Goal 1

That was Peter Dursun at QPR, a cameo substitute appearance where he had one shot that rattled the corner flag.

Belsvik made 3 appearances I think, scoring at home to Stoke on his debut. I think he also played in away games at Salernitana and Ipswich.

Not forgetting Roger Nzamba's brief appearance against Fulham!

Paul Moran made one dubious appearance at Bournemouth in 1991, and didn't George Parris make just the one outing, against Walsall in 1997?

Belsvik played more than once, looked decent and scored a good goal against Stoke.

Beat me to it - that's when that little French striker for Walsall scored with an overhead kick, and then handballed to get his second.

Bit harsh as as worst ever - Yes he let 2 in and was lobbed from 45 yards only to see it cannon off the bar but we did win which was a result.

Sure you can think of worse.

I remember Cowan and Fallon form around 1968 - I was only 12 at the time but even I could tell they were awful.
