What was so good about Port Vale away? Nothing.
Losing to a very poor side. At a crap ground. Culiminating in 3 league defeats in a row.
I thought our promotion had slipped from the rails that day.
Oh, and Constantine scored, courtesy of a Michael Husbands assist.
Does it get much worse in the context of this season?

Walsall at home. BORING! I gather the MK Dons home game on Boxing Day was even worse but I didn't see that one.

Walsall at home pure dross!!!

Brentford away, got stuck in traffic on M25 then on M4, missed kickoff, and made it in ground with over 20 minutes gone!

I just had a feeling that night we would lose!

MK Dons away was dissapointing too.

Donnie at home, it was that bad it nearly kicked off in the car park between 2 southend.

and i dont think anyone would have stopped it as everyone could understand the frustration.

Agreed. Amazed that Vale away hasn't got more votes, we were utterly awful, plus we let not just Constantine, but Husbands score as well!

I took my mate from uni, who lived in Manchester, and had only been previously to the famous Macclesfield trip the previous April. He said he couldn't believe that a team that had looked so good before could suddenly be so crap.

Sorry Jay Smith but this definitely is the worst game of the season!

Don't forget that this isn't a poll for necessarily the WORST game of the season, but the one that left you FEELING the worst. Hence, for me, it was Donnie at home, even though I wasn't there, because I really thought we had blown it.

Freddy's been vital to the promotion this season but remember he missed everything from Huddersfield at home to the second half of the Yeovil game. Must have been about 6 games that yet I also believe we started a club record winning streak in that time!

It's probably fair to say that Gray's form makes a gulf between his play on form and off form but be fair.

We could still be playing now though and we wouldn't have scored against Walsall.

I'd managed to block that match out of my mind til just now.

Also, someone mentioned MK Dons dragging us down to their level on Boxing Day. I actually think thats a bit harsh on them. They, along with Bournemouth, Swansea and Barnsley, were the only teams I was impressed with at all at home this season.

I would still like to see him playing wide right with theball at his feet rather than playing as the front man. He looks much more dangerous when he is running at defenders rather than receiving the ball with his back to goal

Yup - as illustrated by his goal on Saturday.
