World Darts Championships 2024/25

The thing is with Luke Littler he came from nowhere, last season was his first season as a pro and made the final and lost but before the first round 2 of that tournament he was a strong favourite which I don’t understand because the year leading up to that tournament he literally did nothing in terms of winning matches on the tour then just randomly exploded. It’s like the bookies knew, but how ? Really confusing. Tbh after his second final tonight winning I feel we could be in for a Peter Taylor upgrade asking as he doesn’t discovery drugs and OF girls. Hopefully won’t burn out and can claim 20 titles by the time he hits 45/50.

Don't get me wrong Littler has been fantastic here, but better doubling from his opponent and it wouldn't be this comprehensive.
No point in scoring big if you not getting them double percentages. Doubling is the most importantly thing. You could hit two 180 every leg, but doesn’t matter if you not getting the double on the 9/10/11/12th throw.

Yeah I’m hoping he fulfils his potential and isn’t destroyed by the press. He’s a once in a generation talent who is way ahead of others who’ve been plugging away for years. He’s special. You’d hope, others will now raise their game.

Scores for show, doubles for dough

MVG totally rattled and Luke gave not an inch
The old guard sadly now marching out and the new breed have no fear or care for reputation so darts looks very bright
I’m sure one the oldies will win a title or two in the coming season, but the youngsters are more hungry and committed to travel and chase ranking points
Great for the sport with LL win and throughly deserved 👏👏
