Will you BUY the new away shirt?

i wish we could have a real badge back on the shirt like a few seasons ago when it had a blue filled in background and not just a white out line that we have had for the last few seasons

Dismayed by both the home and away shirts. One's just a blue shirt with a badge, the other a Kellogg's advert. It's just not going to happen as far as I'm concerned.

I'm undecided, I have a week to think about it before I go back home. The thing about living in Oz is that virtually no one knows who Southend United are, so the colours of the shirt dosen't matter. :stunned:

Leaving aside the appalling quality, I just couldn't bring myself to strut around in a top that doesn't shout SUFC.....much like all the red away kits down the years. If I see this top down the high street on match day I won't immediatly associate it with the club. And surely that's the whole point of owning a strip? I will be buying the 60's retro top from TOFFS this year and be done with it all. Until the club can give me the customer some decent quality with a club Crest that is acceptable then I'm out. And the club are out £40 a year.

Both are poor! Away I'm flabbergasted that we picked that! Bit early will there be a 3rd kit? As both kits are dark n dull

The choice of home and away kits might be down to monies owed bu SUFC to to the kit makerWe had the bottom of the barrel !!!

Er has anyone ordered the shirt online and managed to get the skybet league patches, I can't see where u add them or are they included with name and number?

I'm staying with my Wembley shirt, but do like the new navy & sky training shirt!

If enough people boycott the shirt or complain about the clubs shirt policy, maybe Mr Kavanagh will do something?

Maybe the Trust could be involved in a vote, like other clubs do. If enough people vote for one shirt, it should equate to better sales than they will have had over the last few seasons.

had a look at the training shirt Rich - quality of the embroidered badge is appalling

Cheap & nasty like a lot of Wembley stuff. Fasto had issues with something he bought where the embroidery was poor & crooked. Quite an appropriate word really! In all fairness, English isn't the first language of the Thai's!!

I wont be buying either shirt . And this is not because I don't like either **** . Its only to do with finances . I don't care what colour style or anything else for that matter . Because it isn't the shirt that gets us 3 points it the players who play in it .So no matter what the home and away shirts look like lets hope the players who ware it do it for Southend united and ware it with pride and Passion .

I was going to buy the away shirt as I like it and it will make a change from buying the blue home kit. After today though I'm wavering, I didn't realise the home kit has 'the blues' printed on the back, very nice touch.

I hate the new away shirt. It has nothing about it that is even remotely appealing and more to the point, those colours have no connection whatsover with Southend United, it's history or tradition. I would go so far as to say that if somebody offered to give me it for free, even then I wouldn't want it.

So what about the pink away shirt? The red away shirt? They have no connection to us. An away shirt isn't what the club is all about. I like the funky away shirts and different designs they come out with. I tend to prefer them to the home shirts because the home shirt hasn't changed a great deal over the past 5 years.

It's the most horrid thing I have seen with a Southend badge on it in years!!! Which is worrying, as there have been a few contenders for the most awful shirt ever...

So that's a no from me. I'll stick with this year's Saga Lout shirt in memory of Graham and Paul.
