Hi Jai, what do you think, Im not sure of his history, he has unusually been loaned out to 7 clubs in 6 years, whilst remaining with QPR. Throughout all that time though he only averaged 16 games a season? Still only 23 , maybe all that touring around has helped form a better player, you would have thought so

That's probably what Hasselbaink means about needing to find a home. He's highly rated by Swindon fans, scored 5 in 20 games last year. It's purely guesswork though on my part, no idea if he is actually the target.

Jon Taylor.... ???? he has not been even getting on the bench in the pre-season friendlies

With it being so late in the season and the player would have to relocate. I would expect it to be someone currently with a club in the South/South-east/London areas.

I can't see beyond Michael Doughty thb and we now have parchant for taking ex Swindon players this year with Cox and Ranger. But Gardner is the only other one that seems to make sense to me.

4 goals last season, Northern based. I dont think it's Gardner.

Could Rochdale be the go to club? Relegated. players wanting to come back up to League 1?

Not sure what you're basing your information on, but according to my league table Rochdale finished 10th last season - quite a long way away from the relegation places!

In the short term could make sense if he is fit- not sure its a step forward longer than that. And he wasn't in L1 was he last year..

Ah. I was following the overall thread theme rather than the particular bit about L1 attaching midfielder

I was right....

Barry Fry reveals to the PT that MK Dons, Bolton and Southend were interested in Jon Taylor, but player didn't want a sideways move #pufc
