WiFi/Phone signal at Roots Hall

I’m on O2 personally and it’s still as crap as it ever was! A friend of mine is on EE and has no issues as well…

I'm on o2 and I can get web access over 5G in the West Stand before it starts to fill up (ie before 2.30pm). Totally gone by half time and later.

I was on EE and reception was crap in the South Upper. It’s still bad on Vodafone.

Fortunately I have no pillars in the way so can spend my time watching the game rather than catching up on TikTok like @Cricko in the West.

I'm on O2 and sit in the East Reds. Nothing above a snacks pace. I managed to post a picture of a chap on the West Stand roof which took around 5 minutes.

Used to be on Smarty who I believe run off the 3 network. I'm thinking of getting a cheap sim around £2 a month just to use whilst at football.

Doubt there is much COSU can do about poor signal from O2. I'd imagine anyone with O2 or who use a provider who piggyback off their network can't get much of a signal.

Anyone on Vodafone or 3 able to confirm network connectivity?

O2 and Vodafone are pretty much completely dead in the stadium - mainly sit in the East, but have sat elsewhere and unable to load anything at all.

Whilst not an essential - having WiFi could encourage fans to engage with the club's social media, enter competitions etc... it's a decent commercial stream that I'd say currently 70% of fans in the stadium are unable to connect to. Even wanted to scan the "matchday experience" posters yesterday to give feedback and was unable to.

About 3 mins after leaving Roots Hall - all the club's social media posts come flooding in, which can be a depressing walk back if we've just lost!
