Why cant we Dream.

Why cant we dream, Let me give you an example of what we could be like, Boda glint Norwegian club is an example , A town of just 42 500 odd people, a stadium that hols just 8000 people , played in the Norwegian 2 nd tier 8 years ago , now look at them playing Spurs in the Semi Final of the Europa League, they play 4-3-3 ,have an attacking manager a lot like Ange, Yes it would be easier for them to gain a place in Europe playing in the Norwegian leagues, but take time to ook at their impressive results past two or so seasons plus this season. I dont dream of SUFC reaching them heights , but i certainly believe we should not be in NL and despite all the **** past few seasons ,this season has no excuses. So seriously what is holding us back.I understand there is a lot off rebuilding to do at RH, but money has been made available for signings ,just 90% of those signings especially up front have been dire ,so who takes the can for that, who takes the can for first of all making a midfield and defensive general not required, who takes the blame for the formation and tactics , Yes im pretty angry on how this season has turned out and truly believe we shouldnt be where we are.

Get an attacking manager in I don’t see why we can’t reach similar heights

If we had a striker who was scoring 1 in 3 we would probably be in the top 5.
Y ou know i have thought about this for a long time , Even if i was the best manager in the World , i could never manage Southend United, , I tell you why my love for the club would put fear into me off failing, sometimes i think this is Mahers trouble his love for the club and his fear off failing the club and the supporters, makes him afraid to just go out and play an attacking game.

We had 2 this season in Cardwell and Pepple. Unfortunately not at the same time and both had their time with us cut short unfortunately because money talks and loanees have no real say.

Imagine Cardwell up front supported just behind by Pepple and Bonne. Parillon in the midfield, Walker and Kendall on the bench. Not forgetting Gus marauding down the right.

This season Kev and Co have had the ingredients for a cracking squad just not all in at the same time.

Next season 🙏 , God willing 🙌

Yes. That’s the point. When Maher says he knows what he needs, he has shown it.

Cardwell literally went in the first couple of weeks. The club agreed to insert a buy out clause. Pepple was never ours and any player usually doing well on loan will get snapped up for a loan elsewhere.

We are constantly told that we have the best scouting network in the division and signed Bonne, walker and Hopper.

None of which are low earner and none of which score goals.

You reap what you sow

Wrong. Seriously, I think you massively underestimate the damage done over all those years, particularly the last few, under RM's ownership. The damage was far reaching across many aspects of management of the Club - finances, of course, being the root of much of it.

COSU have a lot to do, but they still have to be prudent with their investment. We all want the Club to be doing well and back where we belong in the EFL, but they don't have a Wrexham style bottomless pot, or even a Chesterfield or Forest Green size pot with which to splash the cash. That's why we have to try and uncover gems from lower down the leagues or from reserves,

Forest Green cost us this year by nicking our top scorer and goal scoring talisman, Harry Cardwell. You can't blame him for wanting financial security at his time in his career. Bim's loan successes meant that his parent club had higher placed suitors knocking. We just have to keep trying and hope that we can find another of their type.

Earlier in the season when we played York their owner said before taking on York he looked at taking on us or Yeovil, he described the ownership of both clubs as sinister, now look at where York are that could have been us but for Ron.
