Im a big beleiver most will make the step to league one next season :winking: could any make that extra step up though? For me cresswell could

Definitely Clohessy. I have a feeling that he'll step up no matter what in the summer. A couple of people come to games with me up north once or twice a season and they can never believe that he's still with us. A great player, and such a calm presence. A real gentleman. I actually think that I love him.

Without a doubt Britt could play at League 1 level at the very least.

Clohessey could also fit in with a decent league 1 team.

I'd say Smith, Clohessey, Cresswell, Hurst and Assombalonga* could definitely play in L1. Other possibles are Phillips, Laird and Tomlin (with Corr as an impact sub for a different option).

*of course Assombalonga is irrelevant, there's no way he'll be here next season.

How many could play in the Championship? Pfffft.....Clohessey MAYBE AT A PUSH, and Assombalonga who isn't our player!

Unfortunately I think most of our current squad lack that bit of pace to play at championship level, but a for league 1 I would go for Sean Clohessey as a definate, possibly Tomlin, Assombalonga, Timlin and no joking I think also Paul Smith could now that his confidence is returning.

Really? His passing is awful!

As for smith based upon the last two performances, agreed!

Eastwood & Harris though it'd be nice if they actually played in League 2 rather than sat in the stands eating up our budget.

Clohessy
Hurst
Tomlin
Timlin
Laird
Eastwood
Phillips
Cresswell
Smith
Bentley
Spillane

I would say most of our team can do a job in league 1, but we will need to improve and sign a couple if we want to do more than survive. Assombalonga might even come back on loan and Mkandawire sign up if we get promoted. Put that down to hopeful thinking or lack of sleep not making me realise what I put.
