Quite a wide range, granted some are injured and a few only have one or two.

I don't think Benyon has had enough opportunity. Time will tell. As for Flood, he is very much an unknown quantity. May be a dud may be a nugget. Theres only one way to find out, no not fight, play him.

Yerp, so it's not too bad. So 11 games left. If we can score 20-25 then we should go up. But who knows?
Ryan Hall is due back in he will score a hat load if he is played up front in my opinion.
Dave Martin looks to have goals in him.
Benyon has got goals in him as he is proved in previous seasons.
Phillips will score a few more.
Granty is definitely due a bloody goal.

I think we will have enough. But losing Dicko is not good at all. Mohsni may be kept?

Look at Crawley's top scorers now that their dynamic duo have gone and it is far worse than our list reads!!

They must be more concerned having failed to score against 9 men!!

However, probably still need to dip into the Loan market for a striker, re this moring's Echo.

Benyon for me at least has shown he can get in the right positions and has been unlucky, I feel if he keeps getting in goalscoring positions then he will bang a few in. Just needs Luggy to show him some faith. Hall has to come back in as he is our main provider of goals. Why not chuck Flood in for half an hour on saturday as well see what he can do?

Some good points above .......... but one point missing is to keep a clean sheet and then we only have to score once to get all three points. :smile: I know it's stating the obvious but there it is ..........

Key for any promotion team for me is to have goals throughout the team ....... and that means Grant, Sawyer, Philips, Clohessey etcetera weighing in with the odd goal .......... and if we have any of the more attacking players (Harris, Benyon, Flood, Hall & Martin) scoring as well, then we stand a good chance of being in the top three come the end of the season. :thumbsup:

For me, I would rather see permanent players on the pitch than loan players ........ so I would say "thank you and goodbye" to Sampson who isn't quite at the standard required for division 4 at the moment. :hello:

Agreed, we need to see a bit more of this guy. A 4 minute cameo at Burton isn't much to go by.

Agreed don't understand playing a loan striker who isnt scoring goals over one of our own who hasn't really been given a proper chance.

I'd like to see Benyon given a chance to start, possibly as a single striker. Then play Hall, Martin, Grant, Sawyer and Timlin - Timlin and Grant could hold, while the others are given licence to press forward - I know it leaves us lacking height in attack, but Benyon looks to have reasonable control and vision and and should be able to pounce on any decent through passes or loose balls in the box.

Where did you hear this? I did notice there was a chance on Monday night where the ball broke on the counter for us and Harris and Dicko both got in each other's way and then Dicko mis-controlled it before Harris could get in a good position. Harris looked furious with him which I thought was a bit over the top. But that could be seen as just his competitive edge coming out.

Luggy as usual and normal, not giving much away concerning selection for Saturday, in his Accrington preview. If I know him at all he will go for an unchanged side, apart from the forced alterations. So, I'd expect to see Prosser coming in for Barker and if Hills doesn't make it, he will be replaced with either Baldwin or Ferdinand. May see an appearance of Benyon or Flood (the former more likely) near the end .............and a bit earlier if things are not going well.
