Obviously consciously uncoupling the club from the property deal sorts things for now, but surely Rat could still ruin the club by dicking around with the property deal and roots hall, and we could be in the same boat in 6 months time?

Maybe this has always been the case. Remember that the rats will be around until planning permission before they probably sell. I’m sure things could have changed between the final sign off from the council of the HoT and then.

Perhaps most importantly - COSU seem to have the council onside. And from Sir Cllr Cowans comments, it does appear that there is little if any appetite to bend to the rats games again
