When does official Pre- Season training start for us

Went down there about 11.45. About a dozen cars in the car park(including Mildys) - no sign of any players.
Three guys jogging around the ground - Messrs Tilson, Turner and Parmenter.
Bit of a joke starting training next week when every other team started training today at the latest!!.
 
I have seen Capt Mark Phillips a few times - Tall commanding centre half but maybe a bit poor on the deck from memory. Tilly must read my posts as I suggested a while ago he would be a decent signing.

Lancashire I have seen twice and he seemed woeful. Gave away a penalty with a woeful tackle in one game. Terrible.
 
Why is this in the finance forum.........

Phillips would be an excellent signing and whilst Lancashire has had an 'interesting' start to his League career, he'd be a useful player to have around. Then again, who wouldn't in our situation?

I don't know whether to be encouraged or not that two decentish League players are coming in to training... Does this mean we might actually start building from this mess again shortly... I expected a bunch of random South Americans to start off with.
