Jubilee for me - reminds me of my first job up town.
Quite like Central line too - v. reliable and gets you from e to w very quickly.

bakerloo - i love the way it goes from top left, prentinding to go to bottom right, but then abruptly stops. pure artwork.

and now for a serious answer, it has to be jubilee, by far the cleanest line and stations have the best facilities (lifts etc)

The same as Matt but also I would the O2 which is now my choice of arena venue for live acts.

Hils, just to let you know the reason why trains wait so long at Aldgate is that it is stuck between the points that are used to direct the trains between Aldgate East and Tower Hill (District Line) one side and Liverpool Street (Hammersmith and City) the other, so the chances are when the train is in Aldgate it will need to wait for the other line train to pass and then the points to change to allow your train to move on. Of course being a woman this has probably gone way over your head. :p

District Line for me due to the memories of my 21st birthday. My birthday was actually on the Saturday night but I decided to go out for a few beers on the Friday night in the City. I'd already had a skinful at lunchtime and couldn't really remember much after about 9pm. The following morning I woke up in some random house on a sofabed (on my own unfortunately or fortunately depending on which way you look at it) feeling probably the worst I've felt in my entire life, got up and just walked out. Had to ask a passer by where I was, Ealing apparently. My immediate thought was Ealing Broadway = District Line = Tower Hill = Home. On reflection it would have been a lot easier to take the Central Line but I wasn't thinking that straight at the time. So I spent god knows how long trundling from Ealing to Tower Hill feeling like I was going to puke at any moment. When it eventually arrived at Tower Hill I tried to move, my body resisted and I ended up staying where I was and going all the way to Upminster. About 5 minutes after arrival at Upminster i managed to force myself up and off the carriage before it started heading back to West London again and eventually managed to make my way home. I don't think I'll ever forget how bad I felt on that entire journey but I'm grateful to the District Line for getting me home from the middle of nowhere!

My actually 21st on the Saturday was a complete write off, I cancelled plans to go to the pub with everyone and just stayed in bed!

Agreed... we've gone from guaranteed smut to tube lines. Gutted.

For the record, it's the Jubilee - the only line that takes me to Lord's and Wembley. Marvellous.

Well the Bakerloo can too. Wembley Central for, er, Wembley and Maida Vale is only a short stroll from Lord's. ;)
