The Business
Torn between the Northern and the Central personally.

I voted Northern for a few reasons.

1) It goes through the heart of the city and I love the city
2) My fav restaurant is in Angel
3) Stops at London Bridge my favourite terminal and a place I know well.

It does have some bad memories as I used to get it with an ex bird from Croydon but I can over look that for the positives.

Whats your favourite underground line and why?

Central for me contrast of city and near country side when your out towards chigwell

Northern is alright - Then I can go to Camden and act like a goth ;)

Im too used to all the tube lines as i've used them too much...Hammersmith and City for during my Cheltenham days when I used to commute back to Pitsea from Paddington Via First Great Western and C2C, District is boring IMHO, but I dont mind the Central Line, Jubilee or the DLR.

From a reliability point of view the Central Line is the best, but I hate Bank Station.

I use the District or Circle every day now and I have to say the District is pretty good and the Circle Line is crap.

I voted Central by mistake, meant to vote Circle. I know the service on it is terrible these days, but it's the line I grew up knowing best and it still evokes many happy memories of visiting my family in Paddington, and great days out at museums, Buckingham Palace etc.

There's just something I like about the Central Line. When you're out at West Ruislip it really feels like the end of London, with the country just nearby. Then a quick 20 minutes or so, past good views of Wembley and The Hoover Building and you're in Shepherd's Bush. A very quick route in to town from this neck of the woods.

It does have Leyton as one of its stops which is obviously utterly horrible, but I am in a forgiving mood today.
