The decision of the Professional Football Compensation Committee (PFCC) meeting held on Monday 2 August 2010 in London in relation to the registration of Albert Adomah with Bristol City is as follows:
• The PFCC decided that Bristol City should pay Barnet an initial compensation fee of £150,000.
• Additionally, Bristol City is to pay Barnet a further £40,000 after the player has made 15, 30, 45, 60 and 75 appearances i.e. a total further payment of up to £200,000.
• Bristol City should also pay Barnet a further sum of £100,000 if Bristol City is promoted to the Premier League in the next three seasons assuming the player remains at the club.
• Barnet should receive 20% of any profit made by Bristol City in selling the player to another club at any point in the future.
In setting this compensation fee, the PFCC took into account, the player's age and playing record, the length of time he was registered with his former club, training costs, the previous fee paid by his former Club upon acquiring the registration of the Player, the terms offered by both clubs, the status of the two clubs, previous committee decisions and the interest shown by other clubs in acquiring the registration of the player.

There have been 2 decisions in the last couple of days from the Professional Football Compensation Committee regarding under 23 players who have moved on. These are highly indicative of what may happen with Moussa and O'Keefe and may not work out too badly for us:
Bizarrely (from the deals offered) Adomah wasn't with Barnet as a youth player, just from age 20-22, whereas Winfield came through the youth ranks at Aldershot! Methinks it will be much more to do with level played at, deals offered and alternative options to determine the final amount of compensation.
Worst case scenario we should end up with a little cash now and a sell on clause.
Why do we no longer hold his registration?
I have heard Moussa is going to play Wallace in a West End production of The Wire.
