Question What is making you happy today?

Not sure it's entirely accurate - my mum is old enough to remember German bombs falling at the end of her road (and she's lived in Romford since the mid 1930s) - unles they're going on the old London boundaries?

It does relate quite specifically to a certain time period - October 1940 to June 1941. A colleague said the same as you as he knows some landed on the street in Fulham where he grew up, but those landed in 1943.

Jeez, can you imagine how hellish those 9 months must have been. Scary.

My mum went on about V2s which weren't used until the latter part of the war.

It's when you pan out and see London as a whole - you can hardly see anything but red. And, as you say, all in nine months :stunned:
 
Half day and playing golf this afternoon and tomorrow morning and Sunday morning and Masters is on and Southend will win because we beat all the sh!t and Manc derby is on Sunday and and and. Good weekend lined up.
 
Have £25 e/w on Spieth in the Masters, and he has basically won after day 2 :smile: (probably just completely jinxed it, ensue the demise tomorrow).
 
With a local berrichonne accent i some times struggle to understand certain words and today i told an old women in our returant that she could wee were ever she wanted,oh how we laugh for ages.
