I hope it's not an embarrassment. I saw a bit of footage when they played the IoW a few years ago and Roger looked off the pace - the first time I thought he was looking a bit past it, sadly.

Thinking that it might be opted for the cheapest tickets at the Palau Sant Jordi-though I've seen Springsteen from there before now and you get a good view of the stage.

Just got a couple of tickets for the North Mississippi AllStars concert in Badalona in April.First day they were on sale.

Nice toasted cheese and tomato sandwich at the Yard in Rayleigh for lunch today with a good flat white as well. Not the cheapest, but a very decent toastie.

My wife and youngest son have just left to go up to Lincoln. We have friends up there whose sons are both choristers at Lincoln Cathedral. My wife has gone to hear their evensong.

She showed me a video of the eldest son (who is a soloist in the choir) singing "We're Walking in the Air" in the cathedral. To say that (even on a crappy phone recording) he sounded incredible is an understatement. He is easily on a par with Peter Auty.
