Question What is making you happy today?

Its 2 £1m prizes each month.

There is a little calculator available that lets you put in how many premium bonds you hold and it then gives you how much you should win over the course of various periods

Thanks. I don't actually know how many premium bonds I've got!

Let's hope this is the start of a very very long fall.

He'll do the after dinner speech rounds, occasional spots on TV, publish books. He won't fall very far - there are many many people who still think he's the bees knees but I don't think he'll be allowed anywhere near politics again.

Have a check. I was bought £10 when i was a kid, and that £10 is still worth £10. I've now got a fair whack invested which gives me a prize or two each month, but my invested amount remains exactly the same. My prize each month is akin to my interest which granted would probably earn me more if i stuck it in investments rather than cash with a lottery of a possible prize win

How do you check if you have any?

I've just had a spam phone call from an Indian telling me his name was George Shaw and he was from BT Open Reach. I told him I worked for Virgin Media and I had been trying to contact him as his broadband was in arrears. Poor sod didn't know what to say next, then he said he didn't have Virgin and hung up. Give it a try, it's good fun.:Thumbs up:

I don't get nearly enough spam calls. I love stringing them along and seeing how long I can keep them on the phone.

I once managed to string one of those car accident ones along for a bit until he called me a time waster!
I had one.
"Have you had a motor accident?"
"Oh yes, I opened a packet of crisps at the bottom in the car"
"WAs there any damage?"
"Yes, the bag was ruined!"
"Was their any personal injury?
"Yes, I was going on a date and I smelt of cheese and onion!"
Click...brrrrr....

and
"Our records show you don't have a funeral plan"
"Oh I do, I plan to lie very still for ever"
"But who's going to pay?
"I don't care, I'll be dead!"

Just thought of another I can do - washing machine insurance "Hello, Currys!"

A young lady in the office has just told that, after chatting with me, she's been inspired to start taking flying lessons.

So pleased for her.
