Question What is making you happy today?

I’ve finally made the decision to go vegetarian. For about the past 10 years I’ve eaten Quorn mince and Quorn chicken pieces for the majority of meals that would need chicken or mince. Of late I’ve been trying a lot more alternatives and really enjoying the selection. With the recent efforts from fast food restaurants and the likes of Greggs and their efforts I’ve decided to go veggie.

I like the taste of meat but if you give me an option that tastes the same as meat, but an animal isn’t killed and it’s better for you I’ll take that option.

I like Quorn nuggets but I can't say I am convinced with a lot of meat substitutes.

I will happily eat vegetarian food though - Indian food in particular.

Quorn Nuggets are excellent, not a fan of their sausages. I go for Linda McCartney sausages, I’ve heard that the Richmond ones are excellent.

Renewed my car insurance. Churchill quoted £187 (beating last years price of £200) Online check brought back a couple for around £160 (after reducing the mileage from 9000 to 4000 per year)

Rang Churchill to see if they could match it. They adjusted the mileage on their system and they blew it out of the park. £139 for car insurance. To be fair the car isn't worth anything except the scrap value, but even still. Cheapest i've paid for car insurance ever.

That is bloody cheap. Think the cheapest I've ever got mine down to is £20 a month but to be fair, yours is with very low mileage. Result for you though.

Have been veggie for around 15 years now and would never go back. We prefer the Cauldron Lincolnshire sausages and also as a chicken substitute Vegetarian Butcher 'What the Cluck' pieces are really excellent, the texture and taste is so much better than Quorn imho. Lots of good options available these days.

Absolutely loved it and I will probably become a regular.

£27.50 for a family of four is really good value as well.

In addition you can enjoy a beer whilst watching the game if you fancy it and if you are a fan of 80s rock then you will be spoiled for choice.

Hockey is so much better live - you really can't appreciate the speed and the impact on the TV. Sounds like an absolute bargain as well Cyril - last game I saw was Montreal at Vegas in the Stanley Cup Semi-Finals - ticket was a cool $1,000.
I imagine the standard on display was not quite up to NHL standards but the speed of the game and the skill on display is still really impressive.

The only slight let down was the lack of the US style organ music but there was enough 80s rock and power ballads to compensate.

The Chieftains certainly play a good standard of hockey, not quite as fast but still great to watch. Before I moved to Colorado we had a minor league hockey team 35 miles up the road in Washington, and that was only about $20 a ticket. It's where future NHL players develop before they turn 21 so they are playing for million dollar contracts, so the effort level is off the charts.
