Question What is making you happy today?

I heard someone refer to San Miguel as Senorita Beater which I thought was quite witty.

Unless of course they were serious.

Senorita Beater = San Miguel
Wife Beater = Stella Artois
Nutty Numbers = Krony 1664

These terms have been around for years for the more 'lively' beers

I remember the Carlsberg Special Brew, the one with the much higher abv, was called "wife beater" or was it the infamous White Lightning?

Queenie out riding at 94! I am NOT a royalist or a Republican and the politics of it are not my point, I just think that persons of a senior age doing such activities, be it this lady or the Sikh marathon runner, or the ww2 parachutist re jumping over Arnhem are very good news, happy tales and good examples.

That's nothing, I know this guy who's even older and runs a website. He does a great job and is a real inspiration. I would @ him but he's too modest.

And then there's this guy who was even older and flew aeroplanes. He was the oldest pilot in the country. He died at 95, still with his license in tact. Apparently he had had his plane modified to accommodate his injuries and age (don't know the specifics) which led to most instructors actively avoiding carrying out his revalidations!
