Just got the last Lego advent calendar in the John Lewis at Canary Wharf.

I asked an employee if there were any left and she said she had just found one hidden behind a load of boxes.

It's a Christmas miracle.
 
I am 40. I got re-tweeted by one of my music icons from my dim and distant youth. This makes me happier than it has any right to.

It was JimBob from Carter USM, who I sometimes engage in 'bants' with on twitter. As far as I'm concerned, this makes us BFFs.
 
Ant-Man picked up (if anyone asks, it's to help me get over the awful phone interview with Next, god I hate phone interviews, and phones in general, actually), dinner got. Happy Sonic.
 
My order of 10 Criterion Blu-rays (at 50% off) arriving today from the States when I feared it might not be here this side of Xmas. That's my viewing for the festive season sorted, as the TV will inevitably be full of ****...
 
The unbridled excitement of my children as they woke up and realised it was December and...advent calendar time!
 
I don't know what is making me happy today but I do know my ex-wife will be happy as today is 1st December and she will be able to shave her moustache off

I know what you mean. I was boiling by the time I got to work yesterday morning.

However, I'm working from home today because my car is fixed!
 
Completely smashed my workout just now. I would say I'm back to the fitness levels I was at pre broken foot and illness.

(It hasn't gone unnoticed though, that the older I get the quicker my fitness level drops, and the longer it takes me to recover.)
