At the risk of breaking the "no politics" rule the reality is that this country is heavily in bed with the Saudis already and we frequently turn a blind eye to their atrocities as a result. I'm glad the Saudis are getting a lot of attention put on them because of this but I think the focus should be on the entire country's involvement with them rather than just Newcastle United.

Anyway. Arsenal in bed with the Rwandan president Arsenal fan(Murderous dictator) is even worse than the Saudi thing. Arsenal are selling their soul for 10 Million a year, for the visit Rwanda thing on their shirts. Not that anyone is going to visit one of the most dangerous places on earth for westerners. He has all opposition murdered, and anyone speaking out about him. It's just a way for him to pump his government money into the team he supports and loves apparently, by disguising it as a tourism plug. If anyone wants to discuss more on this, just pm me, as it's mostly corruption in football, selling their soul to the devil, and partly political, which we can't discuss on here, which is fair enough.

Insulate Britain. It's really getting on mine and other peoples nerves now. If you're in a vehicle and got to be somewhere for whatever reason, why should you be held hostage by a protesters group blocking the road or motorway? I sympathise with their message, but not the way they are protesting. Drivers are stepping things up now, and frustration and tempers are boiling over.

Just let the public deal with it, the won't come back when it get's even more uglier.

Those poxy sticking plasters that when you take them off an unbelievable amount of the adhesive is still stuck to your finger.

A Tideway course beckons that has given me the rageing hump.

Pros - seven hours towards my CPC

Cons - a 7 o'clock start in Vauxhall
Need to be up for 3.50am to sort myself out
A cab to the station at double the price
First train out of Basildon at 04.43
A complete load of bollocks communication test, in other words do I speak English
Seven hours of being told how to drive a truck by people who don't drive
trucks
Same people wanting to know the in's and outs of a ducks arse and my
personnal data
Stuck at the poxy place until 6 o'clock at night.
And in the same group as a bloke who I can't stand to be around for
anymore than 5 seconds without wanting to punch several shades out of
him.

Not a happy bunny.

Well at least you can be comforted in knowing you could save Christmas for the rest of us by delivering food supplies or driving pigs to abattoirs if called upon. That's got to make it worthwhile, surely? :Winking:

I went out for a meal with my children on Wednesday.

On the table next to us there was a younger couple with a daughter aged about ten. The three spent the entire meal on their phones without uttering a word. The parents went outside to smoke at least four times during the meal leaving the daughter on her own for extended periods of time.

Its easier to juggle chainsaws than getting in with some of the major supermarkets.

£159 lighter after that ****ing time of the year I have to pay the TV Licence. I barely watch BBC or anything on ‘normal’ TV.

Same as me re watching TV. Mine is due end Dec, same month as car insurance, electric bill & both water rates as well!. Plus this Dec 2 yr eye test at Opticians. Last time they said i didn't need new specs as eyes were ok, but fast forward another 2 years, & you just know what they will say, so probably another £250-£300 to pay out. Happy Christmas!.

Eye tests are free on NHS for over 60s?

I pay my licence on monthly D/D, makes it less painful that way.
